El Hemisférico was the first building to be completed (1998). Inside it houses an IMAX cinema with capacity for 300 people. The screenings are on science and technology topics.

On the inner cupola, a movable cupola section allows the smaller or greater opening of the covered outer space. It has been compared to an eye.

These shipyards were completed in 1391. Each section is 50 m long. and a width of 13.20 m. These medieval ships for the construction of ships are, today, separated from the port by tall buildings.

In 1840 the shipyards were privatized, some arches were bricked up and destroyed. In 1980 it became municipal property, being restored during the years 1986-1993 and starting a new phase as an exhibition hall.

This square was formerly called Les Panses (raisins).

Here the event of poor Palleter took place, so named because he sold straw articles (palla in Valencian). On May 23, 1808, the Palleter declared war on Napoleon here, nothing more being known about him.

This building was designed as a maritime station by Federico Gómez de Membrillera. His style is French-inspired (remember the Lyon station in Paris).

It was badly damaged during the Civil War due to the constant bombardment of the port. Rebuilt in 1940, it was used as a post office and telegraph office. Rehabilitated again in 1985, it is currently used for temporary exhibitions.

Inside the station, its hall stands out, with a ceiling of wooden beams and vaults covered with trencadís (chunks tiles). The lockers are made of wood and glass inlaid with trencadís. The walls are also covered with wood and ceramic. In Demetrio Ribes it was a constant to break down the barriers between artist and craftsman.

In the photo appears the sculpture of San Luis Beltrán.

Before placing the two current statues of San Luis Beltrán and Santo Tomás de Villanueva, the bridge had some casalicios with the sculptures of the Moors of Alzira, converted to Christianity and later martyred, San Bernardo (Ahmet); and his sisters Gracia (Zaida) and María (Zoraida). With the War of Independence, and later the Carlist, the statues were destroyed.

In this square was the palace of Mosén Sorell. This palace was named after Bernat Martí Sorell Aguiló, who died at the beginning of the 16th century. The palace was built in the mid-15th century and was one of the most important medieval palaces in Valencia. It was demolished in 1882, after a fire suffered in 1878. Some pieces were scattered, such as the access door to the palace, which is in a gallery in Reggio Emilia (Italy), and a chapel, which is in the Louvre Museum from Paris.
