The Ayora Garden was built in 1900 for José Ayora and his mansion is a clear example of a suburban residence of the bourgeoisie of the time.
The Jardin de Ayora mansion has had various uses: a local police checkpoint, a nursery school, a nightclub, etc. Today it remains empty. This building was about to be demolished in 1983, but the declaration as a Historic-Artistic Monument made its subsequent restoration possible.
