The vegetation of this park recreates the original of the banks of the Turia river.
Among its services there is a bar, and also a pier where you can rent swan-shaped water skates and little boats to take walks on the small lake.
The water of the lake flows from the Molí del Sol, which in the future will become a museum on the River Turia.
This park, despite its few years, is poorly maintained (stones from the walls that fall and are not repaired, dirty pond water, etc.).
The Cabecera park has terraced terraces, separated by stone walls, due to the unevenness of the terrain.
Above the park stands a metal bridge that is the entrance to the Bioparc (the Valencia zoo).
The Bioparc was inaugurated in 2008 and replaced the old Valencia zoo located in the Jardines del Real (or Viveros). The animals are located here in an enclosure without cages or bars, which allows them to be observed as if they were in their natural habitat.
This zoo is located across Cabecera park. To access the enclosure there is an iron bridge that rises above this park.
