This 1876 building, which was dedicated to welfare work during the 19th century, became a cultural center in 1995. Inside are the Prehistory Museum of Valencia, the Valencian Museum of Ethnology and the Alfonso el Magnánimo Institution. It also houses a neo-Byzantine-style church.
